Supreme Court Internship Programme

The Faculty of Law organized an enriching educational visit to the Supreme Court of India from April 2 to April 12, 2025, as part of the Supreme Court Internship Programme for the final-year students of the 2022 batch. The students were accompanied by Mr. J. James, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the functioning of various prestigious institutions, including the Supreme Court of India, Indian International Arbitration Centre (IIAC), National Human Rights Commission, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, District Court, Bar Council of India, and participated in Chamber visits. They had the opportunity to observe live court proceedings in the Supreme Court, which provided them with practical exposure to litigation and court procedures.

This visit proved to be a deeply informative and inspiring experience, significantly enhancing the students’ understanding of the legal system.

The program was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Director; Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari, Head of the Department, Dr. M. Amaraa and Mrs. R. Shalini, Deputy HODs. We sincerely thank Dr. K. Senthilkumar, Dean (Administration), and Dr. A. R. Arunachalam, Dean (Academics), for their continuous support and encouragement.

We are especially grateful to our Respected President, Er. A. C. S. Arunkumar Sir, for his unwavering encouragement and motivation, which made this visit possible.
