The Faculty of Law was pleased to organize an engaging session as part of the Alumni Interaction Series on “Sharpening Legal Practice in Trademark Law.” This program aimed to provide students with practical insights into the nuances of trademark law and its significance in contemporary legal practice. The session served as an excellent opportunity for students to learn from an experienced alumna and understand the real-world challenges and applications in this specialized domain. The event took place on 6th November 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Smart Room, Adayalampattu Campus.

The session was delivered by Ms. Shrutikaa Krishnakumar, Advocate, Madras High Court, and a proud alumna of the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program. She shared her experiences and offered valuable guidance on essential aspects of trademark law, including registration, infringement, enforcement, and the evolving trends in intellectual property protection.

The event was organized by Mrs. R. Shalini, and convened by Mrs. S. Harinishree and Mr. N. Kishore, under the leadership and support of Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Director, and Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari, Department Head.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Er. A. C. S. Arunkumar, President, for his unwavering encouragement and motivation in fostering impactful academic initiatives.
