The Faculty of Law is delighted to have organized the 1st Intra Client Counselling Competition, an interactive legal event designed to test and enhance the counselling and communication skills of law students. The competition simulated a real-life lawyer–client interaction, where participants acted as attorneys and clients presented legal problems.
The final round was held on 14th October 2025, and was judged by Mrs. Indumathy Udayakumar, Advocate, Madras High Court. The team comprising Sahistha (III Year B.A., LL.B.) and Lakshmi (II Year B.B.A., LL.B.) emerged as winners, while Zubbair Ahmed (III Year LL.B.) and Shradha Warrior (III Year B.A., LL.B.) secured the position of runners-up. Aysha Tabbasum was recognized with the Best Counsel Award.
The competition was meticulously organized by Mrs. D. Sarala, Mrs. R. Keerthana, and Mrs. Sunita Mallick. Mr. N. Kishore and Mrs. S. Harinishree convened the event under the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Director, Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari, Head of the Department, Dr. M. Amaraa, Deputy HOD, and Mrs. R. Shalini, Deputy HOD.
