5th VITSOL National Moot Court Competition
We are thrilled to share that our team has achieved a remarkable victory at the 5th VITSOL National Moot Court Competition, held on September 7th and 8th, 2024, at the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology in Southern India. Our students are honoured to have secured 1st place among 36 competing teams from universities across the country. Additionally our students were awarded for the Best Memorial trophy along with a total cash prize of 35,000(Thirty Five Thousand Rupees)
A significant highlight was our students successful performance against Symbiosis Law School, Pune in the semifinals and against Kerala law academy in finals. Our team excelled particularly in memorial drafting and presented compelling arguments throughout the competition.
The team composed of:
- Zubair Ahamed of 2nd year LLB(HONS) B sec who as Speaker 1,
- Shradha Warrier 2nd year BA LLB(HONS) who as Speaker 2, and
- Antony Samuel Geoffrey,3rd year LLB(HONS) who as team researcher.
Each member contributed significantly to the success.
We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from the Moot court mentors, Dr.M Amara andMr.Ahmad Kabeer , As well as Dean and Director who provided the necessary resources and encouragement. Their guidance was crucial in our preparation and performance.
Participating in this moot court has been an invaluable learning experience. This experience has also been deeply personal, as it marks the first moot court trophy for the Faculty of Law.
