The Faculty of Law is pleased to have organised an ISR event on “Legal Awareness on Go Green Drive” at Government Middle School, Poonamallee Taluk, Chennai, held on 17th July 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
As a part of the ISR initiative and in alignment with our commitment towards environmental protection and legal awareness, the event aimed at sensitising school students about their legal responsibilities towards the environment and the importance of sustainable living. Faculties and law students engaged with the school students through interactive sessions and discussions, focusing on environmental laws, green practices, and civic duties. In a symbolic gesture of environmental responsibility, saplings were planted within the school premises by the faculty members and students together. This activity was intended to instil in young minds a lasting sense of ecological consciousness and civic engagement.
The event was organised by Mrs. S. Harinishree, Assistant professor and convened by Mr.N.Kishore, Assistant Professor. The programme was conducted under the valuable guidance and support of Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Director, Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari, Head of the Department, Dr. M. Amaraa, Deputy HOD, and Mrs. R. Shalini, Deputy HOD.
