The Faculty of Law, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its students across various academic and co-curricular competitions.
Our students secured recognition at the Inter-College All Girls Festive 2026 held at Women’s Christian College. The participants who brought laurels to the institution include Chandralekha, Reshmitha, Sharadha Warrier, Dhanusree, Aarthi, and Abirami. In addition, our students also demonstrated exceptional skills in the Inter-College Stock Market Trading Competition, where Santhosh, Sham, and Nantha Gopal showcased outstanding performance.
The Faculty of Law also conducted the Intra Moot Court Competition, where students exhibited impressive advocacy and legal reasoning skills. The winners include Sangavi (Overall Winner), Vikashini Saravanakumar (Runner-Up), Ezhilan (Best Male Speaker), Adhira Pradeep (Best Female Speaker), and Uday Shankar (Best Memorial). We extend our sincere gratitude to our Honourable President for graciously awarding prizes to the students and encouraging their academic and advocacy excellence.
Furthermore, students excelled in the Intra Client Counselling Competition, demonstrating strong legal analysis and client interaction skills. The winners were Shahistha and Lakshmi, while Shradha Warrier and Zubair secured the Runner-Up positions. Aysha Tabassum was recognized as the Best Counsel. Our Honourable President appreciated the students’ dedication, hard work, and exemplary performance, making the award ceremony a proud and inspiring moment for the institution.
