“Mooting and Memo Drafting”

Venue : The Faculty of Law @ Smart Room, Adayalampattu Campus.

The speaker of the session was Mrs. M. Azimathul Marshiya. Assistant professor and the moot court coordinator at faculty of Law.

She delivered the fundamentals of moot court practice and highlighted the importance of mooting in developing advocacy, legal research, and presentation skills among law students. The session also focused on the essentials of memo drafting, including the structure of memorials, framing of issues, citation methods, and effective legal arguments. The lecture provided practical insights into courtroom etiquette, oral submissions, and techniques for preparing persuasive memorials for moot court competitions.

The event was organised by Mr. N. Kishore and convened by Mrs. S. Harinishree and Mrs. R. Jeevitha.

The Subject Lecture was conducted under the guidance of Director Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Dean Dr. N. Rajeshwari, and HOD Dr. R. Gomathy Sankari.
