The Faculty of Law is pleased to have organised a seminar on “Forensic science on crime scene investigation in reference to DNA Profiling” with distinguished speaker Dr.C.E.Pratap, Government Advocate (Criminal side) Office of State Public Prosecutor, High court of Madras.
The session provided an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles of forensic science, and crime scene investigation. The speech emphasised the importance of timely preservation of evidence and investigation along with the importance of crime scene preservation, for orderly conviction.
The seminar was organised by Mrs.D.Sarala, Assistant Professor under the guidance, support and encouragement of our Director Prof.Dr.N. Murugavel, Department Head Dr.R.Gomathy Sankari, Deputy HODs Dr.M.Amaraa and Mrs.R.Shalini.
