Three-day educational visit to the Madras High Court as part of the High Court Internship Programme , for final-year BBA., LL.B (2021 Batch).
The Faculty of Law organized a three-day educational visit to the Madras High Court on 15th April 2026 for final-year BBA., LL.B (2021 Batch) students as part of the High Court Internship Programme.
The visit was coordinated by Dr. M. Amara, Deputy Head, and accompanied by Mrs. Archana. S Assistant Professor.
During the visit, interns observed multiple court halls where different benches were hearing matters such as writ petitions, bail applications, civil disputes, and criminal appeals. This provided a deeper understanding of court procedures, filing systems, and the step-by-step progression of cases. Special attention was drawn to courtroom decorum, the manner of addressing judges, and the importance of precise legal drafting and arguments.
Exposure to the court environment enhanced confidence and provided clarity on career paths within the legal profession, including litigation, judicial services, and corporate practice.
Overall, the court visit was an enriching experience that strengthened practical knowledge, improved observational skills, and provided a realistic perspective on the functioning of the justice delivery system.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel, Director, and Prof. Dr. N. Rajeswari, Dean.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. K. Senthilkumar, Dean (Administration) and Dr. A. R. Arunachalam, Dean (Academics), Phase II, for their constant motivation and support.
It is our privilege to express our heartfelt gratitude to our respected President, Er. A.C.S. Arunkumar Sir, for his continuous encouragement and support.
