Moot Court Orientation Series 2
The Faculty of Law is delighted to have organised the Moot Court Orientation Series 2 on 28th April 2026 at the Architecture Block Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The session was delivered by Advocate Anu Narendran, a distinguished legal practitioner and the Founder of Bonafide Legal Law Firm. She conducted an insightful and engaging orientation for the first-year students of B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B., and B.Com LL.B. Her session enriched the students with fundamental knowledge on moot court practices, including the concepts of moot, arbitration, trial advocacy, and crime scene investigation. She also provided practical guidance on drafting moot memorials, understanding real case scenarios, and developing the skills required to become proficient mooters.
Further, the Moot Court Society pupils actively contributed to the session by conducting a mock demonstration. They explained the structure and importance of a memorandum, the methodology of legal research for moot propositions, and demonstrated arguments for both sides of a moot problem, thereby giving students a practical exposure to courtroom.
The event was organised by Dr M. Amaraa and Mrs. Azimathul Marshiya and convened by Mrs S. Harinishree and Mrs. R Jeevitha
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Director Prof. Dr. N. Murugavel , Dean Prof. Dr. N. Rajeshwari.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. K. Senthilkumar, Dean (Administration), Phase II, and Dr. A. R. Arunachalam, Dean (Academics), Phase II, for their continuous support.
It is our privilege to express our sincere gratitude to our respected President, Er. A. C. S. Arunkumar Sir, for his constant encouragement and support.
